but where is the void btw?
So thank you for this!! It looks amazing
it is so much in detail that even nonElderScroll fans will get invested
We have explained the universe using Gods and Myths during thousands of years until the Greek civilization began thinking about Geometry, arithmetic and philosophy, later the Romans and much much later, the enlightenment and the 20th century technological revolution, proving that in just a century, Humanity gathered much more power than it did in millennia.
So, why am I telling this... simple...
Anu and Padomay created the universe according to TES lore.
In our universe the 4 natural forces created the universe along with a "virtual" 5th (Gravity, Electromagnetism, Weak Electro nuclear force, Strong Electro nuclear Force and the 5th being Entropy)
Taking into account that probably the men and mer in Nirn didn´t have the technological capability to discover the 2nd, 3rd and 4th forces (subatomic interactions) they could only manage to be aware of gravity (by obvious reasons) and Entropy, being described as the contrary of order or just as chaos.
But what is entropy?
In Thermodynamics, entropy (usual symbol S) is a measure of the number of microscopic configurations Ω that correspond to a thermodynamic system in a state specified by certain macroscopic variables. Specifically, assuming that each of the microscopic configurations is equally probable, the entropy of the system is the natural logarithm of that number of configurations, multiplied by the Boltzmann constant kB (which provides consistency with the original thermodynamic concept of entropy discussed below, and gives entropy the dimension of energy divided by temperature. Formally,
For example, gas in a container with known volume, pressure, and temperature could have an enormous number of possible configurations of the individual gas molecules, and which configuration the gas is actually in may be regarded as random. Hence, entropy can be understood as a measure of molecular disorder within a macroscopic system.
Of course the men and mer did not know about the Boltzmann constant or the definition of molecule but they did develop a concept where Aetherius was a place of pure magic. This magic produces different kinds of energy; fire (heat produced by combustion), Ice (the local entropy decreases therefore reducing the pressure and temperature) and lightning (ionization energy) which means it is energy itself. Where does it come from? From the Empty Space Quantum Fluctuations.
In quantum physics, a quantum fluctuation (or quantum vacuum fluctuation or vacuum fluctuation) is the temporary change in the amount of energy in a point in space, as explained in Heisenberg's uncertainty principle .
Aetherius does not exist as a place, but as a physical process, and that could explain the reason of why mages obtain fire without using any kind of fuel and even an oxidant.
The sudden creation of energy generates a decrease in the entropy therefore creating fire, and vice versa when generating ice.
About Oblivion realms described as "infinite" could be extrasolar planets with rare forms of sentient life that can travel through space and time (known as Daedra) although it is not infinite, the estimated amount of planets in the universe is around 5 quintillion and only a 0.0004% of them has chances to harbor life.

Like... a gigantic borg cube with geometric spires al over it? Hated how he go no mention at all in Skyrim. No love for the Daedric Prince of OCD and cleanliness
