they should each have a little tag line written above their heads like: safety and peace (altair),revenge is mine (ezio),my people shall remain (connor)and hey ho hey ho a pirates life for me (edward)

Connor could've been a lot better, but that's only because they did a terrible job at telling his story

. I was hooked on AC since Brotherhood, and Revelations was amazing! Ezio Auditore was awesome!

I think it's a matter of taste. Personally - from the three Ezio games - Revelations was my least favorite, by far. Also, I really enjoyed AC III, and I think Connor's story was told brilliantly. That said, from all the AC games Assassin's Creed II is still my favorite.

As for a good quote for "black flag" assuming it's "Edward Kenway" you can try and find something in the AC novel "Forsaken", it's from Haytham's POV but his Father and his words are mentioned a lot there o3o

Where and when does Black Flag takes place?

While it has yet to be confirmed by Ubisoft, is seems like the game will be set in the Caribbean Sea [link] around the year 1715 (about 50 years before Assassin's Creed III).

Also, a lot seems to suggest that the new protagonist is Connor's grandfather, Edward Kenway [link].

It probably takes place in 1716-17, judging by the use of Teach, who only became active in the yeat 1716, and died in 1718.
